This is a collection of recommended role play forums. They each fall under one of three categories.

Command RP: In this one you buy or control fleets of ships, this tend to let you control planets and wage war on epic scales

Personal RP: Role play as a single person, in these, you do not control a massive fleet of ships or vast legions of Jaffa, but you can role play as a single person

Mix RP: A compination between the first two options. Few exist. The only ones I know are mine and another one of mine that is still in the pre-production stages.

Stargate Invasion

In Stargate Invasion, you can play as the Tauri, the Goa'uld, Asgard or the Replicators.

Tau'ri: Literally meaning "First Ones" in the Goa'uld language, they are humans from Earth. They are the only hope for millions of humans across the galaxy.

Goa'uld: Control vast legions of Jaffa, Elite units of Kull Warriors and be worshipped as a God. The Goa'uld are the Milky Way's biggest and most powerful superpower. The Goa'uld are a feudal race with infighting between them. The most powerful of which form the "System Lords".

Asgard: An ancient race, they were once part of the "Four Great Races", an alliance in which the Alterans (Ancients/Gate Builders) were a part of. They have the most powerful ships and a feared by all who have seen them, awed by the Tauri and respected by all.

Replicators: They Replicate, thats it. They reproduce. That is their core code.

This is my forum. It's not quite go yet, but it will be soon. It will concentrate on alternate history and "what if" games, like storm troopers and SG Teams or Nazi's winning World War Two. This current set will be taking place in an alternate 1962, where there is still the British Empire (honest to God British Empire, with full control of Australia and the like), the Nazi's made the European Union, there is the USSR, the North American Union (NAU), which is America, Canada and Mexico all in one. There is also the Empire of the Rising Sun.

Galactic Wars

This is a Star Trek game, taking place roughly during the TNG era. There is open research, multiple planets and you can open up trade between different planets for an increase to your race's yearly income.

This is my second one (Clash of Times being my first) and is still being worked on. We need help to make a somewhat unique, yet fun and simple RP.

War on Terror

This is another forum of mine. I am currently making a game based off of the current war on terrorism. You will be able to play as various terrorist and insurgent factions along with various other western nations. Current plans are for the United States, a generic NATO team, a New Iraqi Army and Afghan National Army team, the Israeli Defense Force, and an Arab Union.

Unplayable countries will be Iran and Russia, which will take part in this by supplying terrorists or insurgents. These two nations are lead by myself and the other Admin.

yeah, three forums, plus once this other oen I am part of (I am a co-admin with most of the people in it), then I will go ahead and post it. I'm an admin for quit a lot actually.

I need help with Stargate RPG and Halo Wars right now. We are working out a unique combat system for Halo Wars. If it works, then it will be implemented in the Stargate RPG. This of the Halo Wars one as a test bed for the Stargate one, but VERY much its own entity.

You should try some, they are pretty good. I also need to add some more actually lol
